Our Support Projects for 50+

TTVS has a range of projects to support the health and well-being of people 50+ and those with disabilities to across the Torridge area. We work hard to deliver a range of services to support people to remain independent and be included in their communities to nurture better health and wellbeing.

Signposting and working in partnership with other local organisations to meet people’s individual needs

  • Financial Inclusion

    Helps people of state pension age and over living in and around Bideford with 1:1 support from our Financial Inclusion Worker or trained volunteer, who can offer:

  • Activities in the community

    We offer a range of activities in the community to encourage those over 50 and with disabilities to get ‘out and about’, participate and make new friends. These are funded by donations and include:

  • Additional ad-hoc programmes

    We often run time limited programmes including IT Support sessions in conjunction with Bideford college in exchange for learning how to knit, and Amble & Art
