Are you struggling to pay some of your bills? THIS MIGHT HELP YOU!
Torridge District Council have launched the next phase of their Household Support Fund aimed at supporting households in the most need.
Eligible applications include:
- Energy and Water bills
- Food
- Housing costs – in exceptional circumstances, excluding mortgage support.
- Essentials linked to energy and water - warm clothing, soap, blankets, the purchase of more efficient equipment such as fridges, freezers, ovens, slow cookers, and bill reduction measures such as insulating a hot water tank, fitting draft excluders to a front door, or replacing lightbulbs.
- Wider essentials – such as broadband or phone bills, clothing, and essential transport-related costs such as repairing a car, buying a bicycle, or paying for fuel. This list is not exhaustive.
Applications are being handled by the Councils partner organisation Encompass Southwest.
